BOLD Compact is a one-time opportunity that is intended to help Ohio students or professionals, who may have an outstanding balance, to return to College and complete their program of study. Project SEARCH
is based at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and provides multiple programs to help individuals transition into work. The Transition-to-Work Program is a unique, business-led, one-year employment preparation program that takes place entirely at the workplace. Total workplace immersion facilitates a seamless combination of classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training through worksite rotations. SOCHE grants cover an employer’s cost of hiring a high school intern at 50% in the form of a rebate.
The grant is eligible for 6 months after high school graduation and if the student is operating in a non-technical position (administration, business operations, art, marketing, graphic design, finance, etc.)
