In Person Event at Montgomery County Business Solutions Center
About the Title IX Investigator Training
The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) will host its first in-person event in nearly 2 years with a Title IX Investigator Training on Friday, Feb. 18, at the Montgomery County Business Solutions Center (1435 Cincinnati St., Suite 300, Dayton). The training, which will be conducted by attorneys from Bricker & Eckler LLP, takes place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and will include a working lunch.
This workshop will consist of instruction and practice in planning an investigation, handling tricky situations, and formulating investigative questions. Participants will engage in mock interviews to help gather evidence and prepare it for evaluation by a decision-maker.
This workshop is recommended for Title IX coordinators and investigators, and it may also be helpful for decision-makers and appeals officers to understand what happens while conducting an investigation.
Click here to register now for this practical and foundational Title IX investigator workshop. This training will provide an excellent opportunity for investigators to come together and learn with, and from, each other.
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON THURSDAY, FEB. 10.
