What are acceptable forms of registration payment?

Acceptable forms of payment include: check, invoice/purchase order, and credit card (PayPal).

When I register, how do I know which fee level applies to me?

We have created various options for registering. Once you know your availability, check to see if you receive member rates (see the following question).

Additionally, students receive a reduced price; however, a valid student ID must be presented at registration the day of the event. In addition, students must fax a copy of their student ID to SOCHE (937)258-8890 or contact Kimberly Weaver.

How do I qualify for member rates when I register?

Faculty and staff members of any SOCHE institution are treated as “members.” Click here to see if your institution is a SOCHE member.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else, if I can no longer attend?

Yes, registrations are transferable if registration is transferred to someone at your fee level or lower. No differential cost refunds will be made if the original registration fee is higher than the transfer amount (Ex: A difference in cost will not be refunded in the case that a non-member transfers registration to a SOCHE Member). To transfer your registration, contact Kimberly Weaver.

What are the cancellation policies?

SOCHE requires 14 business days' notice prior to the event date to receive a refund. If cancellation occurs within 14 business days of the  event, the registration fee will not be refunded. SOCHE encourages the practice of finding a substitute attendee if you must cancel within 14 business days of the event. If recurring cancellations (three in one year) become a problem, SOCHE has the right to limit an attendee’s rights to register for events

Why is PayPal rejecting my credit card?

If your credit card is not accepted, complete the payment process again, making sure the entered credit card address is EXACTLY the same as it appears in your credit card account. If it is not accepted after you have checked the address, contact Kimberly Weaver.

What should I do if I am having technical problems while registering online?

We frequently experience technical difficulties during the payment process. If this is the case, please read the previous question “Why is PayPal rejecting my credit card?” If your technical issues are unrelated to PayPal, please exit your browser. Once it has reloaded, complete the registration form one more time. Contact Kimberly Weaver if reloading does not solve your issue.

Where do I find hotel accommodations?

The Dayton Marriott website lists several hotel options in the area. Please contact Kimberly Weaver for more information on the group rates.
