About the Articulation and Transfer Workshop
Join us for a day to define and discuss Guided pathways in articulation and transfer - from high school to college to university. This year’s event will start with ODHE Transfer updates and Q&A session.
Following ODHE updates, attendees will have the opportunity to attend concurrent sessions on College Credit Plus, Tech Prep, 3+1, and CTAG. Stakeholders from two and four-year institutions, ODHE, high schools, and career technical schools will come together to learn from one another and network around making pathways work for all students.
After morning sessions, we will break for lunch during which you will have an opportunity to network with your colleagues from regional two and four-year institutions, both public and private. Use this time to decide the area you want to further explore during the action planning session available at the end of the day. The afternoon session will give participants an opportunity to hear ODHE and Practitioners provide some of their best practices and to explore generation Z and what’s next.
Mark your calendars and register now!

Session Descriptions
CCP Session
College Credit Plus is a great opportunity to give high school students academic challenge and rigor through the demands of the college experience. Discussions on the advantages of CCP programs, experiences, issues, management as well as current regulations will be facilitated by the panel members.
Transfer Pathway Models
This session will focus on building transfer pathways, including 2 + 2 and 3 + 1 models. Examples are given of how community colleges and universities can collaborate to form these pathways
CTAG/College Tech Prep
Technical training through adult and high school technical programs is adding to Ohio’s attainment goal of 65% of Ohioans with a postsecondary certificate by 2025. Career-Tech Credit Transfer (CTAG) helps these students to enter college technical based programs with college credit and move more quickly into the job market with advanced skills. These alignments include areas such as Education, Engineering, Computer Technology, Criminal Justice, Allied Health Care, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Programming, Environmental Science, to name a few. Panel members will facilitate discussion on how College Tech Prep (managed by ODHE/ODE) pathways into higher education are providing quality recruits into the workforce.
OTM Gen Ed Updates
This session will focus on how the completion of the OTM/GE is integral to the first 2 years of a 2 + 2 pathway. Examples are given of how community colleges and universities can collaborate to overcome past barriers related to the OTM and transfer pathways
