Event Planning Committee Policy
The purpose of this policy is to guarantee that all conference and event planning committee members who are actively involved in planning a SOCHE conference and/or event receive a reduced registration fee for their volunteerism.
Conference/Event Planning Committee Responsibilities:
- Attend a minimum of 50% of committee meetings.
- Perform duties as assigned by the SOCHE Program Manager and report progress both to the SOCHE representative and planning committee members.
Conference/event fees will be reduced by 50% for committee members who both perform required responsibilities and attend a minimum of 50% of committee meetings.
Conference/Event Planning Committee Definition:
The conference/event planning committee is an ad hoc committee whose purpose is solely event execution. Committee members are individuals from SOCHE member institutions who can provide value in the event planning process.
