Faculty Development Committee

The Faculty Development Committee consists of representatives from the member institutions and focused on planning and evaluating professional development conferences that address faculty issues. The committee seeks to examine important trends and issues of interest to the higher education and broader communities. The committee is responsible for the annual Teaching and Learning Conference and the Faculty Awards Banquet, in addition to special topic forums. Recent topics have included higher education's role in a democratic society, new learning technologies, strategies to improve teaching and learning, examining general education, and academic rigor and student success.
