Library Council

The mission of the Library Council of the Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education is to promote and enhance access to information and library resources for the constituencies of participating institutions. Contributing as partners to cooperative activities that improve services beyond the abilities of any single institution, the members commit to the following:

• Creating professional development opportunities for all levels of library staff and facilitating inter-library communication and collaboration
• Sharing expertise and resources to support common information needs
• Supporting activities and programs that enhance the role of the library in the academic community
• Promoting and supporting library service assessment activities
