SOCHE’s Leadership Development Committee launched a three-part series centered on “Navigating Your Career.”  If you’ve found yourself asking any of the following questions, this series of workshops is PERFECT for you:

Description of Workshop

Michelle Clark and Karin VanZant have worked extensively with both mid-level managers who are hungry to advance as well as with numerous executives with a story to share about "how they climbed the ladder.”  The combination of aspiration and a desire to "pass it forward" informs the content for this workshop. You will learn:

• How to identify the "hidden rules" of your current work culture and ways to be savvy about identifying your political context
• How to find allies to assist you as you bridge into new social strata’s - who is your team for assisting with success?
• How to decipher personality styles and how they apply to networking and career ladders
• How to understand the actions that derail career progress
• How to deal with anxiety while managing up
