SOCHE’s annual library conference offers an invaluable learning opportunity for library directors and their staff from across Ohio. This year’s conference explores making connecting to learning and, in doing so, unpacks the numerous ways in which libraries contribute to the learning process and to the academy.
Featured speaker Megan Oakleaf, MLS, PhD, will lead the library conference. Dr. Oakleaf is an Assistant Professor in the iSchool at Syracuse University. Her research areas include assessment, evidence-based decision making, information literacy instruction, and reference services. As part of the conference, she will discuss library assessment and learning outcomes, as well as examine strategies for library assessment in the “real world.”
