The Higher Education Conference is an annual event co-presented by SOCHE and the Greater Cincinnati Consortium of Colleges and Universities. The 2010 conference will focus on innovations in higher education, showcasing forward-thinking programs/initiatives/people that impact teaching and learning from colleges and universities across the region and state.

John Kao, visionary and author of Innovation Nation, will keynote this year's conference, speaking about the innovation and creating a cultural of innovation. He will be joined by Jim Leftwich, President and CEO, Dayton Development Coalition. In addition, over 30 innovative poster sessions will showcase thought-provoking, innovative campus programs that include best practices and cutting-edge ideas from institutions in Ohio. Areas that will be covered include: teaching and learning, technology, diversity, globalization, student services, student engagement, community engagement, general education, faculty development, and assessment, to name a few.

The conference will close with a panel of education leaders that will discuss What can higher education do better?

Registration Fee: $100 for SOCHE and GCCCU members, $150 for non-members and $35 for undergraduate or graduate students.
