The Articulation and Transfer Conference is designed to bring the right individuals together to accomplish the work of developing or refining articulation and transfer agreements. Like in past years, the 2007 conference provides colleges and universities the opportunity to clarify the legislative issues of articulation, to provide access to innovation in articulation, and . The featured speakers include Peter Ross, Cuyahoga Community College, and Paula Compton, Ohio Board of Regents (OBR), and Melanie Hoffman, Miami University
Peter's presentation will focus on the “TAG-Team Approach” while Paula will provide an important update on transfer and articulation for Ohio. Additionally, Melanie will be back to share the latest news regarding the Course Applicability System.
In addition, the afternoon includes a working session for attendees. Disciplinary areas highlighted this year are:
- Allied Health
- Education
- Social Sciences, including, but not limited to:
- Law Enforcement
- Criminal Justice
- Human Services
- Family Studies
There is no cost for SOCHE and GCCCU members to attend this conference.
Who should attend: Administration and Faculty who are involved in and advise for student Articulation and Transfer, especially those involved in the highlighted disciplinary areas.
