SOCHE is pleased to sponsor this Academic Impressions web conference for SOCHE member institutions. As part of our effort to program around the use of technology and education, this Special Topic Web Conference will focus on developing and implementing podcasting.

A podcast is a digital media file, or a series of such files, that is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and personal computers. Podcasting allows education to become more portable, giving educators another way to meet today's students where they live and learn. Creation and distribution of audio content is easy - barriers to adoption and costs are minimal, and the tools to implement podcasts are simple and affordable. To participate, you do not need to register with Academic Impressions as SOCHE is the sponsor of the program for its members. The web conference will be hosted at six different SOCHE member locations, including: Cedarville University, Edison Community College, Sinclair Community College, Southern State Community College, Urbana University, and Wright State University. There is no cost to attend and is open to SOCHE members only. However, you do need to register with the SOCHE member location.
